Established, award-winning artist Kathryn Welch founded River City Glassworks in 2006. Over the course of her long career, she has designed and created hundreds of custom stained glass windows, historical restorations, public art commissions, and other works of art. Kathryn served for many years as the San Marcos Art League president, vice-president, market director of Art Squared and other markets, and was the founding board member of the San Marcos Art Center.

Now semi-retired, Kathryn is taking limited commissions, restoration projects, and teaching classes by appointment. Below you’ll find samples of her work, along with media attention and honors that she has received over the years. Click on each picture to see the complete image and description.
