San marcos chamber of commerce

In March of 2023 we joined the SM Chamber of Commerce! So many wonderful representatives of our business community came to our ribbon cutting. The show of support was overwhelming, and we’re so happy to be even more involved with our community!

Austin Ridge Bible Church Sermon Series - featuring Sondra Kretschmar

In early 2022, the Austin Ridge Bible Church commissioned our studio to create a four-part art piece that would illustrate the story of Elisha and Elijah. Sondra took on the project, while the church’s film crew documented the process. At the end of the sermon series, the pastor at Austin Ridge showed this powerful testimonial from Sondra. Don’t miss it!

Public Art - Mosaic Benches at Price Center

River City Glassworks was commissioned to create three mosaic gardent benches by the Committee for the Arts at The Price Center, located in San Marcos, TX. The title of the piece is “Love Flows Like a River” and it was created in loving memory of George Forrester. Click here to see the process behind this creation.

“YOLOTX” FEATURE

River City Glassworks was featured by the great team from YOLOTX in April, 2022. The segment aired in TV markets all across Texas and featured not only our studio and what we do here, but our classes as well. Click here to enjoy this delightful segment!

Austin Ridge bible church sermon series

In April, 2022, River City Glassworks was commissioned by the Austin Ridge Bible Church to create a 4-panel art piece. The church filmed Sondra over several weeks as she finalized the patterns, chose and cut the glass, and created the art using traditional leadwork. You may view their audio/visual production here.
