This two-day Intro to Leading class is a great way to take your skills to the next level! You’ll review the glass cutting instructions from the beginner classes, then move on to create a small panel using lead construction.

Highlights of the class include:

• Patterning for lead construction

• Choosing your glass

• The many types of lead and how to stretch and cut it

• Building and soldering your panel

• Finishing with cement

Students who sign up for this class must have either completed our Beginner series or have prior experience in glass cutting.

The cost is $395/person and includes all materials and use of the tools. You will be given a choice of patterns to complete. Each class is 5-6 hours long and may be taught over a 2-day period. If additional time is needed to complete your project, you may sign up for our Open Studio hours, where you may work independently in our studio with occasional guidance.

After you purchase the class, please email us at rivercityglassworks@gmail.com to schedule your class dates and times. The Leading Class is taught to individuals or small groups, so you will receive close hands-on instruction!
